As explained in my first post (What is clean romance?), there are different categories in order to make this a better reading experience for you. You'll also find links to the blog's guidelines (about the contents here presented and the accepted reading recommendations) and what's included in a review.

Let's get started! Just click on the category of your choosing to see the whole list of all the books reviewed within that category and happy reading!

And as usual, please feel free to Contact Me if you have any reading recommendations, general comments, or suggestions.

Thank you for the support!

Here you can find very specific guidelines about what I read and what I don't, exceptions of certain acceptable cases, review requests and recommendations, and comments policy. I appreciate you taking the time to read them.

Here you can find all the elements that are part of my reviews, from the basic ones like the title and rating to additional content like tropes, genres, specific notes, and even where you can get your own copy of the book!

Clean & Wholesome Romance here refers to books that do NOT contain any kind of offensive content like profanity, vulgarity, swearing, strong graphic violence, or explicit sexual scenes. You can find more information about this in my post “What is clean romance?”.

Historical Romances here refers to books that take place in a specific historical period that affects everything that happens in the story and the development of the characters' romance. Attention to detail and historical accuracy (according to the author's chosen time period) are integral parts of the plot (e.g think of the rules of courtship, clothing, language, or no cars existing during the Regency era). Regency, Victorian, Medieval, and the Civil War era are just a few examples of subgenres.

Inspirational Romance here refers to books that include faith or spiritual beliefs as a central part of the character's romantic relationship and/or the plot device (aka the storytelling technique to drive the narrative). Usually, the characters are driven by faith and focus on the emotional development of their relationship. Inspirational Romance is non-denominational, but currently, most books found within this category are in the Christian and Amish subgenres.

Please note that  I do review Christian Romance books but this will be limited to storylines where only some faith elements are mentioned/included but religion is NOT the main or only focus of the story.

Sweet Romance here refers to books that focus on emotional intimacy development, striving towards a HEA (Happily Ever After) but that, as opposed to the Clean & Wholesome category, may contain more descriptive scenes portraying kissing, sexual tension, and/or sensitive topics as well as implied off-the-page or behind-closed-doors situations.

The Gray Shelf refers to books still within the clean reads category with NO explicit content nor overly graphic scenes but that contain more elements of the accepted exceptions mentioned in my Blog Guidelines, including but not limited to more descriptive mature and/or sensitive topics (such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, grief, alcohol consumption, miscarriage, etc.).

From time to time I may include in my reviews some non-fiction titles that pique my interest within different subgenres like cookbooks, self-help, health and wellness, travel, and educational guides.
